I would just like to start and say this is absolutely awful and completely surreal to me! Having to attempt to teach your child without seeing, being with them is daunting - we do so many fun, hands-on activities at school - I will try and find as many creative activities for your child while they have to learn from home. Do not feel like you need to use all these activities! I will give you more than enough options; choose what works best for you and your family. And believe me 1000% I would rather be at school with your child than not!
I will be using my website to send and attach learning activities. I believe this will probably be best for you all to get the links. Please let me know if this absolutely does not work for you and we can figure something else out.
Here are the links and the class code for the Mystery Science activities.

Number cards (write numbers 1-10 *two times so you have 20 cards* on index cards or regular paper)
For each, have your child grab 2 handfuls (be careful that they grab too many!)
Legos
Pennies
Stones
Social Studies:
Take a walk, or a drive around your neighborhood and make a map of your area. Label important places on the map.
Examples: library, police station, fire house, bank, grocery store, park and most importantly your house!
ELA:
Keep working on the superkids materials sent home, go on the website and read the books that were sent home.
More activities will be sent if needed.
Religion:
Keep working on the materials that were sent home. I am working on getting together Lent activities that you can do at home. Before leaving, we were taking a story a day from the children's bible and reading together. If you have the ability to keep this up I'm sure your child will enjoy this.

Again, I would rather you have more than not enough! This is a lot, so choose what works best for you and your family. All I ask right now is kiddos should be doing all subjects daily and I would follow the time frames I sent in the letter home last Friday. If you have any questions please, I can not say enough ask any questions you might have I will check email and remind regularly!
And…. most importantly, I miss your kiddos already! I am praying that we will all be able to see each other again and quickly! Your children’s smiles and laughs are why I teach! I pray you and your entire family remain healthy and safe through all this. All we can do is take this one day at a time.
Love,
Miss Sudyn
